On a balmy Austin summer evening at the Shoreline Grill, overlooking the Colorado river - wedding flowers inspired by the bride's childhood memories of Indonesian orchids. Bouquets were composed of dendobrium orchids in magenta for the bride, and in white combined with sweet pea, lisianthus and freesia for the bridesmaids. Corsages, boutonnieres and hairpiece were composed of phaelenopsis and dendobrium orchids with reed accents. The ceremony and reception sites were decorated with paper lanterns and tall arrangements of curly willow, magenta orchids and hanging candles. The orchid theme was carried through to the guest book station, cocktail tables, centerpieces and cake decorations.
