Bold and elegant : red roses and dahlias accented with purple sweet peas in the bouquets and centerpieces. Purple and red orchids for the boutonnieres and the cascading cake decoration. Dramatic altar flowers included a late summer mix of hybrid hydrangea, orchids, calla lilies (also carried by the mothers), snapdragons, dahlias and roses, all in shades of purples and reds.
